Delilah Benitez, a visionary and artist at heart, began her journey as a Pilates instructor in 2014. Coming from an athletic background since the age of 11, she discovered Pilates while recovering from a knee injury that she sustained while playing college soccer at Centenary University, where she holds a BA in Mathematics.
Delilah uses her knowledge and experience with movement to help people balance, positively transform, and ultimately gain a greater self-awareness. She focuses on balancing the body through deep strengthening using anatomical knowledge and proper biomechanics. Fascinated by the intricate healing abilities of the human body, Delilah decided to expand her education of the practice at Kane School of Core Integration. She has also completed continued education courses on hip pathologies, scoliosis, and pre and postnatal Pilates. She has taught at Equinox, April Nicole Studios, and Strive Total Wellness where she has worked in collaboration with doctors and health specialists.
In 2018 Delilah founded Yayasphere, uniting her passion for art, movement, and nutrition to create a culture with a unique approach to Health and Wellness. Delilah has been active in the grow your own food movement with over a decade of experience in gardening. She believes nature is the ultimate sensei and growing your own food is a revolutionary act.
